I love this building, One Whitehall Place. It stands between the Ministry of Defence and the Thames on the Victoria Embankment and is a not so little piece of Austrian baroque architecture in the centre of London. The central portion in particular reminds me of the Eggenberg Palace, albeit with a different colour roof. The interior of this building is, possibly, even more impressive than its exterior; check out these pictures for a flavour of what it has to offer; the staircase is especially resplendent.
People that know me will know I'm a better writer than I am speaker, so this blog is my way of explaining what it is I do with my spare time and why I enjoy it; namely, photography and science. If the two can be combined then all the better. If you would like to see more of my photos, or to purchase any, then check out my website at www.jasonhehirphotography.com If you like what you see then feel free to spread the word on Facebook and Twitter and the like. Thanks!
